Project Overview

Interlinked is a real-time AI platform for disaster response, beginning with wildfires. It transforms disconnected, static, and manual emergency systems into one intelligent command layer that predicts ignition, maps spread, and delivers live response strategies within seconds. The platform integrates continuous multi-source monitoring, ignition likelihood detection, and zone-based spread simulation through an ensemble of AI models that analyze environmental, meteorological, and infrastructure data. These insights generate dynamic, field-ready outputs that enhance situational awareness and enable faster, data-driven decision-making.

About Team

The Interlinked team combines expertise in artificial intelligence, disaster management, and operational systems design. Rehaan Bicha, CEO – Leads business strategy, partnerships, and organizational growth. Rehaan oversees engagement with government agencies, utilities, and enterprise stakeholders to drive adoption and alignment with real-world emergency operations. Rushil Desai, CTO – Heads technology development and AI architecture. Rushil leads the design of the ensemble model system and multi-source data fusion layer that power Interlinked’s predictive and operational intelligence. Neel Shetty, COO – Oversees operations, field coordination, and research integration with UC Berkeley’s AI ecosystem. Neel manages cross-sector collaborations with fire departments, universities, and technical partners. The team works closely with advisors from UC Berkeley’s Disaster Lab and the Berkeley Artificial Intelligence Research Lab to ensure scientific rigor and applied impact. Together, the team bridges academic research and field-tested innovation to deliver actionable, scalable technology for real-world disaster response.
