One of the biggest issues facing cities today is the enhancement of the urban waste collection service as well as the general attainment of more effective waste management. Smart waste management is therefore a crucial component on earth. This waste leads to greenhouse gas emissions that significantly affect climate change when improperly disposed. Our project aims to design a smart waste collection system that allows citizens to choose and post the various types of solid waste they want to dispose of on the website and for garbage collectors to collect the same.

Our Team is made up of three third-year students from Strathmore university who are diverse and dedicated professional software engineers. Our team came together to find a solution to reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills or incinerators, which can harm the environment and human health
