About your team: Behind Lexy stands a passionate team of four innovators from the Higher Colleges of Technology - Filmon, Zarak, Kalkidan, and Eden. As university peer tutors, we witnessed firsthand the challenges bright students face when dealing with dyslexia. Our experience working closely with these talented learners revealed a critical gap between their intellectual capabilities and the available reading support tools. Drawing from our Engineering and Computer Science expertise, we envisioned and created Lexy as a bridge between technology and accessible education. Our diverse backgrounds in AI, software development, and educational support converged to develop an intelligent reading companion that understands and adapts to each learner's unique needs.
