Our team aim at designing a navigation application for visually impaired people. As a group of engineers towards excellence by providing technical solutions to give equal rights to different groups of people, we proposed several ideas for visually impaired people. We are trying to use the knowledge we have acquired at school to make a real-life impact. The main functions of our application are: · Provide accurate direction guidance for visually impaired people; · Read signs (eg. traffic lights, zebra crossing, bus stop signs) and information; · Scenario description function; · Video calls with others

We are students from Nanyang Technological University. Four penultimate students major in Electronic Electrical and Engineering, Information Engineering and Media, and Computer Science. We work together on a smart navigation application, especially for visually impaired people.
