Lately, we can notice that the number of smart devices in households is growing.
In fact, over $ 123 billion has been invested in smart devices this year alone (2021), and that number is projected to reach as much as $ 173 billion by 2025.
While smart devices make our lives a lot easier, most people don’t think about change at all.
The problem is that these devices are often too expensive, unreliable, and incompatible with each other.
We have been thinking for a long time about how to reduce the price of the device and get rid of the compatibility problem. After a while, we came to the conclusion: "Why make and sell new devices at all when users already have devices in their homes that work perfectly properly." What users really need is not a new smart light bulb, washing machine, refrigerator, but a device that would they have turned into a smart device.
This is exactly what inspired us to create Quercus.
Quercus allows remote control and monitoring of all your devices via your phone.
It's simple - just plug it in and use it. You don't need any additional knowledge.
Quercus measures voltage, current, and power at all times.
With the help of this data, it can give you a detailed report on the consumption of each of your devices. With the help of AI, it can spot problems and immediately give you advice on how to fix them, as well as give advice on which device you could replace with a newer, more efficient one to maximize savings.
The entire system is controlled via a smartphone.

Blaž Perić (full stack developer):
I am 17 years old and I go to "Srednja Strukovna Škola Tomislavgrad". I am a student of 3 classes of electrical engineering(High school not college). I started programming in 2016. I entered the world of programming completely unplanned by surfing the internet and contracting a virus. The twelve-year-old I also wanted to make my own virus, but I didn’t know how. That's how I came across .BAT "viruses". Since no one explained how they work, I decided to investigate it myself by running each line separately and writing down the result. During that period, I broke my computer at least 70 times. It wasn't until 2018 that I started learning real programming languages. Twice I won first place in a school math competition. In May of this year, with Salih Seferić, I participated in a programming competition in which all schools from BiH participated, where we won first place with the "Đumbir" project. I recently started studying for the AZ-900 and hope to pass the certification. Of the technologies, I know: C # (WinForm and Unity), VB.NET, Python, Flutter (Dart), and Azure.
