Projectoverzicht

Driven by the need for accessible, engaging, and scalable tools, we developed a social robotics system integrating gamification and Azure AI services. The result is an innovative solution that combines speech, behavioral, and emotional analytics to provide real-time, accurate diagnostics. This approach addresses the challenges of traditional tools, which are resource-heavy, non-engaging, and often inaccessible in low-resource settings. Our system's key features include interactive sessions with a social robot, multimodal data analysis, and detailed, user-friendly reports, empowering therapists and caregivers to make informed decisions. This project exemplifies our commitment to using technology to make a meaningful societal impact.

Over het team

Our team, composed of three senior software engineering students—Rahaf Alqahtani, Siwar Raslan, and Leen Yarkhan—alongside our supervisor, Dr. Areej Al-Wabil, embarked on this journey inspired by a simple dream: to contribute towards objective tools for autism screening. From the outset, we have been deeply passionate about creating innovative solutions for real-world challenges, particularly in autism screening to address the gap in localized objective screening for autism within our region.
