The social problem we want to solve is “We can’t upload the image to SNS because it has personal information”. There are many problems with social networking services (SNS) because SNS is used in the world. For example, Japanese man was arrested for stalking some pop idols by identifying addresses based on photos uploaded in SNS. Another problem is about image rights of people who have been photographed without any permission. So when we upload the image to SNS, we always need to be careful. This is an issue that has actually been covered on TV and in newspapers[1][2]. And I have often felt this privacy problem when I travel. In order to solve these problems, we have created this application named “MASKER” . Itcan “edit images and videos more easily!” This application uses machine learning to detect information that should not be uploaded automatically. In recent years, it has become more and more popular to use the SNS in which the user's face is hidden, such as a virtual YouTubers. In fact, the popular Japanese character "strawberryprince" hides his face in his YouTube videos[3]. They hide their faces on YouTube ,but in reality, they show their faces. To hide the face in videos, it needs to edit video techniques and skills. So it is not easy to start. Applying this application to videos can also solve this problem! You can solve the problem by automatically detecting the face from the video and changing it to mosaic, smilieor the image you want to replace. To create this application, we can help using social networking sites safely!! The good point of our product is that it saves privacy and personal information with AI face recognition and text recognition to process images, making it possible to share photos and videos easily without uploading personal information to social networking sites.

We are Cos5year. Our members are students of Tokyo Metropolitan University. We major in Computer Science. We always make software that is useful for people and can make them smile. We participated in many hackathons. We have many techniques and abilities for thinking about social problems and user thinking products. The reason why I joined the Imagine Cup is to want to make a good product that can be used all over the world!
