The Problem:
-India is spending nearly 10 billion US dollars on fertilisers subsidy every year.
-Farmers are applying fertilisers wtihout taking into account soil quality.
-Traditional methods of soil analysis are laborious, time consuming and expensive.
Research:
India is considered as agrarian economy.
-To develop a system for rapid assessment of soil quality.
-To monitor soil quality on near real time basis.
-Help in meeting Sustainable Development Goals:
-Goal No.1 - No Poverty
-Goal No. 2 - Zero Hunger
-Goal No.13 – Climatic Action
The Concept:
-Use of AI to monitor the soil quality.
-Use of IOT for getting the information about the nutrients status of soil.
-Developing decision support system for crop land suitability.
-Rapid analysis of soils using sensors will help farmers in need based application of fertilizers.
-Hazardous chemicals are used in analysis of soil which affects our environment.

-The product developed is a unique idea.
-It will empower every farmer with a cost effective solution.
-Privacy and Security were considered while developing this project.
-It is accountable in solving real life problems.
-It is easy and safe to use.
-It is very cost effective.
-It is very portable and easy to use.
