In most of the insides of supermarkets and shopping complexes, there is a lot of advertising on digital screens that run a playlist of advertisements in an endless loop. Most of the time people tend to pass by these screens without paying attention as most advertisements are not relevant to the person that walks in front of them. So due to these reasons, shop owners might not be benefiting as they expect from the money and time spent for establishing these systems. Also, the current price of the digital signage solutions is quite expensive for the SMEs to afford and if it does not meet their expectations it might not be the best decision to buy it. To overcome these kinds of issues our proposed solution consists of an upgraded version with additional hardware/software which can do User Targeted Advertising. Here when a particular crowd (male/female/group) is identified in front of the screens it will change the current content flow and show some relevant advertisements for the targeted audience that might catch their attention. The shopkeeper of the digital signage unit can upload their advertisements using the provided user-authenticated mobile application. Also, add some specific advertisements categorized by gender and age group. When a user in front is detected, specific content will be visible to the targeted audience. As mentioned above existing digital signage solutions are expensive to afford for most SMEs. But this unit solves this issue since this unit is cheaper than existing units. Compared to the existing digital signage systems, this system recognizes the customer (age and gender) and gives the most relevant advertisement to him/her. Ordinary systems show all kinds of advertisements in a slideshow, customers have to wait more time in front of the screen to find something relevant to their needs. But that does not really happen. Customers would never spend much time in front of the screen to watch advertisements. Therefore, with this solution, people can use digital signage in a more effective way where the relevant advertisement to the customer is shown immediately. Google Slides are used to store advertisements which reduce cloud storage immensely while providing easy editing tools. Here users do not need to consider much about the resolution of the screen but they can edit the advertisement using google slides which provide a very similar preview to the final display of the advertisement even while editing the advertisement. Due to this unique feature, users can create or edit advertisements using any device that can access google slides including mobile phones.
