BantuBicara

The "BantuBicara" is a mobile application system to assist children with speech disorders to develop communication skills using Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) approaches powered by Artificial Intelligence. ​ "Bantu Bicara" offers inclusion and flexibility to different learning methods by guaranteeing accessible for kids of all ages. By fusing text and speech produced by AI, the software not only helps children learn the words but also makes it easier for them to communicate with others.​ The app is a dynamic and interactive platform with symbol-based communication boards to provide children with speech condition a visual and intuitive means to express themselves. These boards cover a wide range of commonly used words, phrases, and expressions, facilitating effective communication for children with varying speech abilities.​ In the application, the app use form of Text-to-Speech, Speech-to-Text, and Multi-language support to facilitates seamless transition between written and spoken language, for the development of essential communication skills.​ BantuBicara app designed to provide children with speech disorders an immersive and enjoyable learning experience. With thoughtfully chosen color schemes, captivating animations, and a sensory-rich environment, the app aims to captivate the attention and imagination of children.​

We are a team of 4 members, namely Arsya, Arya, Andika and Ahsan. All four of us are majoring in Software Engineering at Indonesia University of Education. Despite our university's location in a small town, we have a strong passion for technology, which is why we formed this team to advance our knowledge and solve people problems.
