Tulibot is an integrated assistive device, created to help the communication between deaf and mainstream society. We see that the number of deaf people will increasing rapidly throughout the year. For now, there are 466 million people in the world that suffers from hearing loss. WHO also estimated that by 2050, the number of people with hearing loss will increase up to 900 million people.
Commonly, people with hearing loss are located in middle and low income countries. While assistive device has a very high price, so only 5-15% people with hearing loss that able to reach assistive technology. This brings the idea to us, how can we help people with hearing loss, that located in low and middle income countries, to have a better communication and better understanding with society. How can we build some affordable technology that can help 40 million people with hearing loss in Indonesia and other country? Then, Tulibot came as the answer for all of those question. We try to build something that simple yet helpful enough for deaf people, so they can have a better communication and understanding with mainstream society.
We hope that all the inequality and discrimination against deaf people will be gone. We also hope, that people in Indonesia will be able to care more to people with hearing loss. So everyone can have the same chance and opportunity, and much more equality.

When he was child, Alan always thinking about solving problem. With Tulibot, he aims to solve the biggest problem in our society "bridging communication gap between deaf and society".
He has imagined, designed, and prototyped Tulibot from scratch over the course of two years, facing and overcoming several challenges.
Yudha Sadewa Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Mechantronics Engineering, 3rd year- Yudha is a 21 year-old Mechantronics student from Surabaya, Indonesia. He has a keen interest in embedded systems and programming. Yudha has designed and developed many mechatronics related industrial applications, he also joined in Aerial Robotics Team in his campus.
Namira Rizqi Annisa, Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya, Electrical Engineering, 2nd year- Namira known as a young girl that full of spirits in herself. She is always do her work out of the box and try to find easier way to solve a problems. Namira has always had a great creativity and communication skills. She is joining PENS International Cooperation Office as a volunteer. She is also have a great interest in Electrical world. With Tulibot, Namira hope that she can expand and introducing Tulibot to the world, through a good communication.
