AI Voice Assisstant

Abstract The project aims to develop a personal-assistant for windows using python. Our virtual system draws its inspiration from virtual assistants like Cortana for Windows, and Siri for iOS. It has been designed to provide a user-friendly interface for carrying out a variety of tasks by employing certain well-defined commands. Users can interact with the assistant either through voice commands or using keyboard input. As a personal assistant, Jarvis assists the end-user with day-to-day activities like general human conversation, searching queries in Google, bing or yahoo, searching for videos, retrieving images, live weather conditions, word meanings, searching for medicine details, health recommendations based on symptoms and reminding the user about the scheduled events and tasks. The user statements/commands are analyzed with the help of AI to give an optimal solution. . Chapter 1 Introduction 1.1 Background These days technology has become the need of every individual in different aspects according to their needs and to some extent technology has made our lives easier but still some fields needs a real attention where this technology can be implemented vastly. Technology makes life smart but still in some aspects of life technology is still not reachable that is because it is costly and can not be used by technological advanced people. Today everyone is busy in their daily life. Everyone needs help in our daily basis task on personal computer/laptop, technology has made much advancement in our day-to-day life. Due to these advanced AI technologies, our manual work is decreased and automated work has gone up. Voice assistant is popular these days because people are adaptive to learn new things besides having a preference for portable and handy gadgets so we are developing such type of desktop software that can minimize user effort in our daily life. So our system will respond to your voice by speaking to you like a human being. So, user can able to access the services of their laptop computer though voice command for example a person that can check the email in our daily basis daily he goes to the Gmail check whether is their new email that reduce a lot of human effort in order to reduce human effort we are making desktop voice assistant software that can minimize human effort in future this software is very helpful to automate any type of smart devices you can easily though our voice command perform daily basis task. 1.2 Overview A virtual assistant also called an AI assistant or digital assistant is an application program that understands natural language voice commands and completes tasks for the user. It is a user friendly to carry out wide variety of task. As virtual assist the end user the day-day activities like general task which we have to do daily and we are fed up of doing the same task so in order to [provide facilities in that case we are going to make a assistant which will do the task by just getting voice command and input command and that task is easily done with no extra effort 1.3 Objective Presently, Desktop voice assistant is being developed as an automation tool and virtual assistant. Right now virtual assistant work on limited area and we are going to expand its functionalities. Among the Various roles played by Desktop voice assistant are: 1. Search Engine with voice interactions 2. Medical diagnosis with Medicine aid. 3. Reminder and To-Do application. 4. Vocabulary App to show meanings and correct spelling errors. 5. Weather Forecasting Application. 6. User will be able to command different task to the assistant.. our aim to release our virtual assistant as an Open Source Software where modifications and contributions by the community are warmly welcomed. Our virtual system can also be further updated With the addition of Internet of things (IOT) and make the system more smart up.
