Lumina AAC

Lumina is an AI-powered software solution that democratizes access to Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC). By leveraging advanced Computer Vision and Deep Learning, Lumina transforms any standard laptop webcam into a high-precision eye-tracker. We allow users to type and "speak" using only their eye movements, removing the need for expensive peripheral hardware.

Lumina is developed by a team of students from Telkom University, Indonesia: Muhammad Karov Ardava Barus, Casta Garneta, Bayu Satrio Wibowo, and Hauzan Rafi Attallah. The team brings together backgrounds in artificial intelligence, software development, and UI/UX design. We started this project with a shared motivation to address accessibility challenges in communication. Through Lumina, we aim to create an AI-powered solution that enables more inclusive and independent communication using everyday devices, while combining strong technical implementation with a user-centered approach.
