Suicide Squad (VietNam)

The team has envisioned an app which is accessed through an app that is developed on the basis of image segmentation to assist hospitals in detecting and localizing brain tumors with a higher degree of accuracy and at a lower cost. The AI will be first provided with nearly 4000 brain MRI scans as learning materials. Then, our app will be self-learning how to detect the exact location of brain tumors on the pixel level, taking the advantage of transfer learning. We believe that this cutting-edge technology will be beneficial to doctors who require accuracy in their work, and underprivileged people who cannot afford healthcare services due to financial setbacks. Furthermore, as the data set grows, the AI will become a reliable and helpful tool for medical students who attempt to sharpen their skills. The Suicide Squad is tempting to make the world a better place with technology and creating positive values that are good for the society.

The Suicide Squad is made up of six different students from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted, Danang City, Vietnam. We are a sincere team with a straightforward vision and enthusiasm for AI. We believe that amazing journeys all start from a fertile imagination and work our best to bring out the most creative idea and spread positivity to the community. With this in mind, we started discussing the criteria provided and organizing everything in a collected manner so that our project is well-prepared, well-considered, and tailored to what society needs in the real-life world.
