MoonChick is an insight-controlling system for poultry farms. MoonChick is a smart collaborative system for broiler livestock business using big data analytics & IoT technology so it makes our product more powerful. MoonChick provides IOT Instruments to capture environmental factor data & for data communication efficiency, Monitoring System to give awareness to poultry owners in running their poultry farms, Correlation Analysis to discover environmental factors which affect broiler mortality in their poultry farm and we also built a feature that can help farmers find out chicken diseases through photo recognition using machine learning. All are packaged in one mobile and web platform that can be easily accessed by poultry owners to reduce the number of deaths in broiler chickens.

We built this product on the basis of seeing the phenomena that occur in Indonesia, namely the mortality rate of broilers in poultry farms is still high even though it reaches more than 30% of the total population. And after we conducted further research, this also happened in other poultry farms. This was due to the difficulty in monitoring and controlling the condition of the broiler coop and the broiler chicken owners themselves. In addition, broiler breeders did not know the diseases that cause broiler chickens. dead. That's why we developed our innovative product, MoonChick, which can help poultry owners monitor and control the condition of the coop and the broiler itself to reduce broiler mortality, and can also provide the right advice on chicken diseases that sometimes occur in chickens. Consisting of 4 people who come from the same university with different skills, namely Farid Laksmana with skills and experience in product design and business, Andi in the field of IoT, Rafy in the field of Data Scientist and Achmad in the field of web and mobile programming, together we solve problems. chicken farm.
