Team Sentinel

Sentinel is an intelligent IoT tool that reimagines the way we manage water supplies. With a complete toolkit with everything from autonomous supply management, to sustainability analytics and cost insights, Sentinel strives to solve the real problems faced by water users from residential to agricultural!

Team Sentinel is New Zealand’s first ever multi-university collaboration of like-minded students across both our North and South islands. From the University of Canterbury in the heart of New Zealand’s South Island, we have our UX designer, Zach Preston. Up north in Auckland, we have our in-house stack developer, Zac Lochhead, and commercial engineer, Sam Yoon from the University of Auckland. Team Sentinel and its community is growing every day, with Ben Murton and Li Xie working tightly within the team to bring an industry-standard platform to the global stage. Whilst the distance may be seen as a hurdle, Team Sentinel prides itself on a tight-knitted culture of like-minded students collaborating on technology that has the potential to change the way we think about our natural resources.
